Privacy Policy (English)
InsuranceWaleBaba provides vehicle documentation assistance and guidance (RC, insurance copy, PUC, road tax, permit help). This Privacy Policy explains what information we may process, how and why we process it, and the controls available to you. We are a private consultancy platform and are not affiliated with any Government department or insurance company.
What data we collect and why
We do not maintain or sell databases of personal information. We operate a request-based assistance service. When you contact us or submit a request through our forms (including third-party form providers such as JotForm) we may process the following data only when required to deliver the service:
- Identification inputs you provide: vehicle registration number, policy number, last 5 digits of chassis, owner name — only when you supply these to request assistance.
- Contact details you provide (email, mobile) to send confirmations and deliver results.
- Payment metadata (transaction id, date, amount) only if you pay for optional assistance — payments are handled by third-party payment processors; we do not collect card details.
- Technical metadata: IP address, user agent, timestamp — collected for fraud prevention, anti-abuse, and troubleshooting.
Important:
We do not store personal data long-term by default. If personal data is needed to complete a request (for verification or to communicate results), we process it temporarily and then delete or anonymize it as described in the “Retention & deletion” section below.
How we use data
- To process and fulfil your assistance request and communicate updates.
- To verify authorization when required (for services that require owner consent or identity verification).
- To prevent abuse, fraud, or automated/spam requests and to comply with law enforcement requests when legally required.
Third parties & tools we use
We use reputable third-party service providers for specific functions. These providers process data as processors under their own terms:
- Form provider: JotForm (or similar) — used only to capture form submissions. You will be redirected to or submit via their platform; please also review their privacy terms.
- Payment processors: Razorpay / Cashfree / PayU — payment processors handle payment data and card details; we only receive confirmation of payment and transaction metadata. We never collect or store raw card numbers or CVV.
Cookies & tracking
We use minimal cookies for session management and essential site functionality. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) are used only for aggregated, non-identifying metrics. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Where required, we present cookie consent prompts on the site.
Retention & deletion
Data submitted to fulfil a service request is retained only for the time necessary to complete the request, to meet legal obligations (for example financial records), or to resolve disputes. Unless retention is required by law, we will delete or anonymize personal data within a reasonable timeframe (typically 30–45 days) after request completion. If you need earlier deletion, contact us at support@insurancewalebaba.in.
User rights & controls
You may request access to your data, correction, restriction of processing, or deletion. Submit requests to support@insurancewalebaba.in. For requests involving another party’s vehicle or owner details we will require proof of authorization.
Security
We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures (HTTPS, access controls, limited staff access) to protect data. However, no online service is completely risk-free; avoid sharing extremely sensitive information unless required and requested securely via our verification workflow.
Legal compliance & lawful purpose
All requests are subject to lawful purpose review. We explicitly prohibit requests intended for harassment, stalking, surveillance, resale, or any illegal activity. Misuse will result in request rejection, account blocking and, where required, reporting to appropriate authorities.
Links to official government & insurer portals
Where possible we provide direct links to official portals (VAHAN, Parivahan, insurance company portals) and recommend you perform payments and downloads directly from those official sites. If you choose our optional assistance, we act only as a consultant in the process; government and insurer portals remain the authoritative sources.
Children & minors
Our services are not intended for minors who are not authorized vehicle owners. We will not knowingly collect data from minors without parental/guardian consent.
